We are looking for a Director of Compliance whose role will be to manage all compliance matters of the company reporting to the COO.

Tasks
- Handling of all compliance matters of the company
- Responsibility for compliance with laws and regulation in the areas of financial market law and prevention of money laundering in Europe and Switzerland
- Implementation of policies in connection with AMLA, AMLO, AMLO-FINMA, CDB 20 as well as AMLD5 and its implementing provisions
- Implementation of policies as well as assessment of FATCA and AIA status of relationships
- Handling of onboardings and KYC due diligence procedures, including related AML tasks (e.g. AML clarifications and assessments in terms of PEPs and/or other higher risk factors, transaction monitoring)
- Handling of compliance projects (new products and offerings, new cross-border markets, new business initiatives)
- Documentation and life cycle management of relationships
- Monitoring of regulatory developments in relevant jurisdictions and evaluating their implications
- Manage reporting procedures and record keeping, development and revision of compliance processes and identification of hidden risks or non-conformity issues
Requirements
- Master’s degree in law from a Swiss University or equivalent education abroad
- Experience in a compliance function in the financial industry, preferably in trading or banking and in audits and controls.
- Experience with compliance regarding digital assets is a plus
- Excellent command both orally and written of German and English is mandatory
- Pragmatic, business- and detail-oriented approach with entrepreneurial attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time pressure and in flexible hours
- Open minded, solution oriented can-do attitude with team spirit and endurance
- Active interest in working with and optimizing various technical implementations and systems must be a given
