About Rivero

In this way, banks can focus on delighting their customers with streamlined digital interfaces. If you want to label it, we fall into both the #FinTech and the #RegTech domain.
We have steadily grown our customer base and offer a unique opportunity to join us for the exciting growth phase ahead.
<h2>Tasks</h2>
What is it like to work at Rivero
We work in product-based, small and interdisciplinary teams. We are ambitious and excited about our mission. We know that there are many exciting challenges ahead, but we are excited and value these opportunities to learn and grow.
We value self-awareness and strive for confident humility. We actively engage with our customers to shape our products. We listen to them with empathy to truly understand and address their needs and pain points.
We are radically transparent in communication and, at the same time, open-minded to questions, informed comments and grounded disagreements.
We believe it is OK to make mistakes but unacceptable not to identify, analyse, and learn from them.

<h2>Requirements</h2>
The profile we are looking for
You'll be a good match for us if you're excited to work in a team where the Backend and DevOps Engineering domains are a shared responsibility. Thus, we'd like you to be comfortable with Backend and be interested in learning Infrastructure concepts.&nbsp;
Below you can see our tech stack, i.e. the list of tools that you will mostly be involved with in your day-to-day work. We expect you to have experience with these or similar technologies that address the same problems:
<ul>
<li>Scala</li>
<li>ZIO, Typelevel Stack (Cats, Shapeless, http4s, fs2, etc)</li>
<li>PostgreSQL</li>
</ul>
As a multidisciplinary team we value experience that you bring in other parts of the tech stack and domains. Other technologies we use within Rivero:
<ul>
<li>Frontend - Typescript, Vue.js, Web Components, LitElement, Cypress</li>
<li>Backend - Java, Kotlin, Go, Rust, Haskell</li>
<li>Infrastructure - Nix, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI, Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Traefik, Vault, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, NATS</li>
</ul>
We are looking for someone who has experience with creating and delivering high quality cloud / web applications. As a backend engineer you will take an active part in designing and engineering how our products work. Therefore we need you to be able to take responsibility, be communicative and easy going. At Rivero we believe that while progress comes from individual effort, we can only succeed as a team.
<h2>Benefits</h2>
The little things that matter
We strive to keep our employees happy by creating a pleasant working environment, and below are a few things that we are currently offering:
<ul>
<li>Great office in a historic building - 2min from Oerlikon station, right next to a park, with a friendly Barista in-house :-)</li>
