Senior Embedded Software Architect

• Embedded Software Development:
  Design and implement software architectures for microcontroller-based embedded systems in C, with a focus on safety-critical applications according to IEC 61508.
• System Optimization & Safety:
  Coordinate hardware-software interaction, enhance performance, energy efficiency, and safety, and conduct safety analyses and documentation.
• Certification & Security:
  Support functional safety certifications and audits, and apply security best practices for embedded systems (experience in security is a plus).

• Technical Background & Experience:
  Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with several years of experience developing embedded systems in C on microcontroller platforms (e.g. ARM Cortex, STM32).
• Standards & System Knowledge:
  In-depth knowledge of IEC 61508, strong understanding of hardware architectures, and proficiency in communication protocols like EtherCAT, CAN, and ProfiNet.
• Additional Skills & Strengths:
  Experience with LWIP, FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux, and embedded system security (a plus); structured working style and strong communication skills.
