Risk & Control Officer

As an Operational Risk & Control Specialist, you’ll help our organization stay in control while improving efficiency and compliance. You’ll work closely with different departments to identify risks, strengthen processes, and ensure the company operates within the right frameworks.

You’ll join a small and collaborative team that connects risk management, data, and process optimization — helping the organization maintain stability and readiness for growth.

• Identify and assess operational and process risks across departments.
• Design, document, and implement internal control measures.
• Execute control testing and follow up on improvement actions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Analyze risk incidents and report to management.
• Support fraud prevention and business continuity initiatives.
• Promote a culture of awareness and accountability around risk control.

• Professional command of Dutch and English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related.
• 3+ years of experience in Operational Risk, Internal Control, or Compliance.
• Background in financial services, leasing, or insurance is an advantage.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Proactive, structured, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

• Gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €4,200, depending on experience.
• Annual performance bonus.
