The Role
Are you an engineer or technically minded professional who wants to own how a fast-growing company operates and scales?
We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager with a genuine technical foundation to join a rapidly growing European company and build the systems, processes and operational infrastructure for its next stage of growth.
This is not a traditional operations role. We are not looking for someone who runs an established operation. We are looking for someone who builds it: a technical problem-solver who designs systems, works closely with technology and engineering, and uses data, automation and AI to make operations better. Think of a Technical Product Manager who applies that mindset to a physical business.
The company designs and manufactures custom logo signage at scale, serving customers across Europe through multiple consumer brands. Founded in 2014, it operates across Germany, Poland and Sweden.
You will own key operational areas across Design, Warehouse, Assembly and Service Coordination, working directly with leadership to improve performance, build scalable systems and drive the company's transition toward AI-driven operations.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate has a strong technical side, built through hands-on experience: building systems, implementing tools, working with data, automating processes, and collaborating closely with engineering or product teams.
Experience in logistics, manufacturing or supply chain is welcome, as long as the technical side has been the driving force of your career. What matters most is that you have been the person who designs and improves how things work, not only the person who keeps them running.
<h2>Tasks</h2>
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead day-to-day operations across Design, Warehouse, Assembly and Service Coordination, continuously improving cost, speed, quality and scalability.</li>
<li>Design and implement processes, workflows, automations and software solutions that improve execution.</li>
<li>Work closely with technology partners and internal teams to define requirements, prioritize improvements and roll out new tools.</li>
<li>Define operational KPIs and build the data and reporting needed to act on them.</li>
<li>Lead initiatives around automation, AI tools, AI agents and AI-native workflows.</li>
<li>Manage, coach and develop teams across the four operational areas.</li>
<li>Take ownership of operational budgets and financial performance.</li>
<li>Identify bottlenecks and build practical, scalable solutions that improve the customer experience.</li>
<li>Turn complex operational challenges into clear priorities, action plans and measurable outcomes.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Proven hands-on technical experience, such as building or implementing systems, tools, automations or data solutions, or working directly with engineering, development or product teams. </li>
<li>3-7 years of experience in roles where technology, systems or engineering were central, such as technical operations, product or program management, process or industrial engineering, implementation, or operations in a tech-driven company.</li>
<li>A proven track record of designing and implementing systems, tools or processes, ideally working directly with developers, engineers or product teams.</li>
<li>Hands-on data skills, for example SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau or automation tools.</li>
<li>Experience leading people, projects or operational functions, with clear career progression.</li>
<li>Strong financial understanding (budgets, costs, profitability).</li>
<li>A proactive, entrepreneurial approach: you enjoy building solutions rather than managing existing processes.</li>
<li>Genuine interest in AI, automation and the future of operations.</li>
<li>Fluent English (C1 or above) is required.</li>
<li>Polish or German is a plus.</li>
</ul>
** Nice to Have**
<ul>
<li>Experience with physical products: manufacturing, assembly, production or fulfillment.</li>
<li>Experience in a startup, scale-up or fast-growing tech company.</li>
</ul>
** This Role May Not Be for You If**
<ul>
<li>Your career has mainly focused on running large-scale warehouse, logistics or production operations, without a significant technical or systems-building component.</li>
<li>You are looking for a fully remote position.</li>
</ul>
** Location: Wrocław, Poland (Hybrid, On-Site Presence Required)**
This role is based in Wrocław and requires regular in-person work at our Wrocław office and operations site. It is not a remote position.
<ul>
<li>Candidates must live in Wrocław or the surrounding area, or be willing to relocate to Wrocław before starting.</li>
<li>The exact split between office and remote work will be agreed with the hiring manager during the interview process.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Benefits</h2>
Why Join?
<ul>
<li>Real ownership over how a fast-growing company operates and scales.</li>
<li>Build systems across multiple operational functions, not manage a single established process.</li>
<li>Shape the company's transition toward AI-native operations and automation.</li>
<li>Work directly with ambitious leadership on strategy, execution and growth.</li>
<li>Grow with the company as its operations and team continue to scale.</li>
</ul>
