We’re the team behind Qdrant, the powerful, open-source vector search engine built for the next generation of AI applications. From semantic search and recommendation systems to LLM-powered applications, our technology helps developers and enterprises unlock the full potential of unstructured data. Our community is growing fast, and so is the demand for scalable, production-ready vector databases. We’re looking for a talented Solutions Engineer to help our users and customers succeed with Qdrant.

Tasks

As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the technical bridge between our product and our users. You’ll work closely with customers, developers, and our internal product and engineering teams to ensure seamless adoption and integration of Qdrant into real-world AI applications. Whether helping a startup scale its recommendation engine or guiding a Fortune 500 company through a proof-of-concept, you'll bring expertise, clarity, and confidence to every interaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers during pre-sales, onboarding, and post-sales engagements.
  • Understand client requirements and design tailored solutions using Qdrant and adjacent tools in the AI/data ecosystem.
  • Build technical demos, PoCs, and reference architectures.
  • Assist with performance tuning, deployment strategies, and integration best practices.
  • Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams to help shape Qdrant’s roadmap.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, tutorials, and community support channels.
  • Represent Qdrant at meetups, webinars, and conferences as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Developer Advocate, or similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong understanding of vector search, similarity search, and machine learning workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common AI/ML libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, Faiss, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Experience working with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for open-source software and engaging with developer communities.

Benefits

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with Qdrant or similar vector search tools.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Knowledge of semantic search, embeddings, LLMs, and RAG architectures.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and gRPC.

Join us

  • Work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-growing field.
  • Be part of an open-source-first company with a global community.
  • Collaborate with a passionate, friendly, and expert-level team.
  • Competitive salary, equity options, and flexible remote work.
  • Opportunity to shape how vector search is used in production at scale.
