Your tasks
• Support European Insurance Premium Tax reporting and compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions
• Liaise with outsourced compliance providers to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and payments
• Monitor tax compliance deadlines, actions, queries, and overall filing status
• Provide practical tax technical support in relation to Insurance Premium Tax, direct tax, and indirect tax matters as required
• Support business stakeholders by responding to day-to-day tax queries and assisting with issue resolution
• Support international expansion initiatives, including tax readiness activities, compliance assessments, and the implementation of new operating models
• Assist with the implementation of new tax processes and controls, including tax transformation and process improvement initiatives
• Support tax projects across Europe, working closely with business, finance, compliance, and external advisers
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance controls, and simplify existing tax processes
Must have competences
• Experience working within a corporate tax function, professional services firm or tax compliance environment
• Good knowledge of European tax compliance requirements, including experience with European Insurance Premium Tax reporting and compliance
• Experience supporting tax projects, business change initiatives or international expansion activities
• Experience supporting tax advisory work, providing practical technical support on Insurance Premium Tax, direct tax and indirect tax matters, and responding to operational tax queries
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate activities with outsourced compliance providers
• A practical and proactive approach to process improvement
• Strong organisational, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced international environment
Nice to have competences
• Experience in process improvement and implementation of new ways of working
