Scouting new locations for pocket-sized retail

Pocketpantry Vending places automated snack stations where people gather across Houston. As a Vending Scout working fifteen hours a week on-site, you will map out high-traffic areas, approach property managers, and secure new spots for our pantry units.

Your first weeks will involve walking local commercial districts, identifying prospective host buildings, and initiating conversations with decision-makers to pitch our vending service. You will learn to evaluate foot traffic patterns quickly and manage a pipeline of prospective locations from initial contact to agreement.

What you bring to the role

• Confidence in approaching businesses and pitching services in person

  Familiarity with the Houston commercial landscape

  Self-directed work habits and persistence in the field

Compensation and perks

This is an at-will employment position with a one-month probation period, compensated at USD 8–10 per hour.

• Travel expenses compensation covers your transit costs while scouting locations.

  Free snacks are available during your working hours.

• Compensation: $10/hour + mileage reimbursement + performance bonuses

Your first weeks in the field

You will quickly learn our target property profiles and map out your initial territory across Houston. By the end of your first month, you will have initiated contact with dozens of local businesses and secured your first new locations for our pantry units.
