A leading provider of integrated security solutions, offering services seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and positioning the company’s security solutions competitively in the market.
Tasks
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across key sectors (corporate, industrial, retail, residential, and public sector)
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, tenders, and bids for security contracts
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer need
- Promote the company’s full range of services, including manned guarding and electronic security systems
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
- Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meeting
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular performance reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles
- Experience in the security services industry or related sectors (facilities management, logistics, or outsourcing) is highly preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales target
- Strong understanding of tendering and contract negotiation processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Strong network within Ghana’s corporate and industrial sectors is an advantage
