Consulting Seniority: Junior Consultant - Manager

Day rate: £300-£500/day (outside IR35) (depending on the role and your seniority)

Project duration: 1-2 month initially (3-4 days per week)

Location: Hybrid in London

​We’re collaborating with a boutique consultancy that specialises in delivering transformation projects within the public sector. They’re seeking independent consultants with PMO experience in local government projects. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of managing complex programs and driving successful change initiatives within local authorities.

• PMO: Maintain comprehensive program oversight by managing detailed project plans, tracking milestones and deliverables across workstreams, monitoring resource allocation, and maintaining a centralized risk and issue log to proactively identify and address potential challenges
• Governance: Develop and implement robust governance frameworks to ensure alignment of transformation initiatives with organisational objectives and compliance standards.
• Organisational Transformation: Drive end-to-end initiatives, aligning strategy, structure, and culture to deliver sustainable change and improved business performance

• Nice to have: Proven consulting experience, ideally with prior experience in full-time consulting management, stage gate management, financial tracking/budget cycles
