Sports Trader and Risk Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Sports Trader, to be part of our growing sportsbook department in Malta.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate good general knowledge of Sports and experience in the sports betting industry.

As a Sports Trader, you will play a crucial role in our Trading & Riks Department, focusing on trading and risk management in alignment with the company's overall strategy.

You will be responsible for assessing potential areas of risk and taking appropriate actions to ensure the company's success.

You will use your excellent knowledge of the betting and sports, your analytical skills and your team player skills in a vibrant working environment with a great team.

- Responsibilities

• Monitoring prices and managing liabilities based on market.

• Monitoring real-time sports events/results.

• Monitoring and optimising risk management processes.

• Assist in setting up Margins, Feeds and templates.

• Performing customer analysis and monitoring bet limits.

• Performing analysis of market trends and observing competitors, markets, make proposals about product development.

• Analyse markets, betting patterns and performance to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas of opportunity.

• Handling of any technical or settlement issues, or any other incidents affecting company.

• Working closely with third-party suppliers & partners.

• Settlement of markets as required.

- Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role with expert knowledge of sports.

• Experience with risk management and betting patterns,trading systems/tools.

• Experience using 3rd party trading providers (e.g. BetRadar/BetGenius/Lsports or other providers).

• Full understanding of the implications of trading issues on customers.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to take quick and well-informed decisions accordingly.

• Self-organized, target driven, and a team-player.

• Passion for sports.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English ( any additional language is a plus ).

• Must be willing to work on a shift pattern which includes evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
