**About the role**

We are looking for someone who is passionate about real-time music delivery. You will play a crucial role in architecting and implementing a scalable state-of-the-art media delivery system. You have practical experience in the development of streaming APIs and services .Your responsibilities include defining and implementing protocols that connect client side media with innovative user-oriented streaming services. With your pragmatic and results-oriented approach you will help define Pixtunes content distribution roadmap.

## Tasks

- Work with interdisciplinary teams on the topics of integration, operation, testing and DevOps
- Designing and optimizing audio data-pipelines with a focus on cloud-based distribution
- Assure the quality of an ever-growing set of backend (micro)services, (API, streaming, storage) that power our products
- Evaluate real time audio streaming protocols which focus on real time low latency audio streams
- Partner with front end engineers to design and maintain API contracts
- Conduct system load/stress tests and drive best practices including automated testing and documentation

## Requirements

- Experience with microservices, cloud-native infrastructures and streaming media
- RESTful, Websocket and WebRTC-based streaming communication
- Experience with Cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS including distributed logging  and monitoring
- Virtualization using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Comfortable with backend languages such as Rust, Go and/or NodeJS
- Proficient at code versioning tools
- You apply principles like Scrum or Kanban to your daily work

Nice to have

- Implementation of continuous integration pipelines for microservices
- Creating intuitive visualizations for monitoring live streaming data
- Amateur or professional relation to music.
- Great communication skills, and willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues. Our Tech family is growing and positivism and good vibes are essential.
