Tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Technical Sales & Client Success Consultant (m/f/d) you will…

  • Provide deep technical expertise to Sales teams during complex sales cycles, acting as subject matter expert for advanced product and architecture-related topics.
  • Support RFI/RFP processes and develop winning technical strategies.
  • Provide tailored demos (including customization on code-level) for highly complex cases in collaboration with Sales and Partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on architecture, integrations, and platform best practices
  • Build long-term customer relationships and ensure ongoing success with Pimcore
  • Proactively monitor customer satisfaction and identify churn risks early.
  • Drive proactive problem resolution to minimize churn and strengthen customer retention, working closely with Partners and Sales Executives.
  • Identify growth and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Share customer insights and feedback with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, Customer Success, or SaaS/PaaS account management
  • Solid understanding of software architectures, APIs, integrations, and data modeling
  • Experience with data platforms, digital experience platforms, or enterprise software ecosystems (PIM, DAM, CMS, DXP, eCommerce)
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and business stakeholders
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong customer focus
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 5–10%)

For this position we differentiate between Junior, Expert, and Senior seniority levels.
For an Expert level, the starting salary is EUR 72,000 gross per year (full-time) with willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
