At Picnic, we’re revolutionizing the way people buy groceries with our innovative and sustainable app-only service. We do almost everything in-house, developing cutting-edge technologies and processes to ensure we continue to grow rapidly without missing a beat. If you’re curious about Recruitment and want to gain practical experience next to your studies, we’re offering you the opportunity to join the diverse team at our Amsterdam HQ and make a real difference in our scaleup environment!

🥜 In a nutshell

Our recruitment team plays a crucial role in finding top talent worldwide and persuading them to join Picnic. If you have excellent communication skills, thrive on identifying the right profiles, and know how to get candidates excited about unique challenges, we want to hear from you! Understanding the profiles we seek is key, as finding the right people is vital to our success. As a working student, you get the opportunity to join either our Business or Strategy & Analytics Recruitment teams, depending on your ambition and past experiences. We are looking for someone who can support our team for at least 16-20 hours a week (the more the merrier).

🎯 What you’ll do

  • You'll work closely with our recruiters and various internal teams to understand the specific requirements for open positions
  • Using LinkedIn Search and other search techniques, you'll actively look for potential candidates and approach them to explore opportunities at Picnic
  • You'll support the team with creative strategies that help build the talent pipelines with unique talent
  • You'll bring fresh ideas and provide valuable input to enhance our talent pipeline processes and improve overall recruitment outcomes

For example, every year at Picnic we organize a Business Course event for potential Analyst candidates (see video ). In 2025, it could be YOU the one recruiting for it, together with the support of our Analytics Recruitment team.

⭐ About you

  • You are currently pursuing studies in Psychology, HRM, Business Administration or similar fields
  • You have prior internships or working-student experience in active sourcing or recruiting
  • You are ambitious and dare to generate and share cool ideas all the time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
  • You are a team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

At Picnic, we use Greenhouse as our ATS. It's great if you're familiar with it or if you're curious to learn!
