Tasks

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze business requirements to understand and articulate the scope and objectives of new and existing product features.
  • Write detailed Jira tickets and Confluence pages for the development team, ensuring clear communication of requirements, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and designers to refine product concepts and user experiences.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and engineers.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented as intended.
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to stay aligned with the team and address any issues swiftly.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry's latest trends and technologies to improve product development and user experience.
  • Ensure the development backlog is prioritized and that all Jira tickets are clear, concise, and actionable.
  • Act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating clear communication and understanding of project goals and priorities.
  • Conduct and participate in user research and usability tests to validate features and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of new features, using data to inform future product decisions.

Requirements

  • High motivation to work as a Business Analyst in a product development environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and conceptualization skills in English and possibly in German
  • An understanding of agile methodologies and the product development lifecycle.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with user experience design principles and user research methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
