Power BI Consultant

Location: Hybrid (Lisbon or Porto)

• Freelance – 12 months contract with extension – Up to 250eur per day
• Develop, design, and optimize dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI tools.
• Implement and maintain data models, utilizing DAX for advanced data analysis and visualization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data-driven solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources using SQL and ensure smooth processing pipelines.
• Provide insights and actionable recommendations through clear, visually engaging reports.
• Read and utilize Python for specific data tasks and leverage App Insight for enhanced reporting capabilities.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, with experience in Grafana monitoring considered a plus.
• Engage proactively with technical teams and business users to ensure seamless communication and solution delivery.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
• Maintain strong documentation for data models, reports, and processes.

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Visualization, Dashboarding, and Reporting within a Power BI environment.
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Python for data-related tasks.
• Familiarity with Grafana monitoring is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, flexible, and problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
