We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager with expertise in SAP Financials and familiarity with SDLC. This role will focus on delivering Finance Transformation projects, ensuring they are on-time, within budget, and on scope. The Project Manager will work within a global, cross-functional environment, applying project management methodologies to lead and align project activities effectively.
Tasks
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead and manage project lifecycles, including planning, directing, coordinating, and executing finance transformation projects in line with SDLC guidelines and organizational policies.
- Budget and Scope Management: Ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets, timelines, and scopes. Proactively address potential deviations from project plans to maintain project integrity.
- Cross-functional Team Leadership: Manage local and global teams effectively, driving alignment across cross-functional areas to meet project goals.
- Performance Measurement and Adjustments: Monitor project performance against targets, implementing remedial actions as necessary to address any variances.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with key business and IT stakeholders at multiple levels to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Reporting and Dashboard Updates: Provide regular project tracking, updates, and dashboards to IT, Business PMO, and leadership for informed decision-making.
- Methodology Application: Apply Six Sigma, Process Excellence, or PM methodologies to optimize project outcomes, with PM/PMP/FPX certification highly preferred.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: SAP Financials, SDLC methodologies, and Project Management best practices.
- Freelance – 12 months contract
- Daily rate: up to 350EUR per day
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels and with diverse stakeholders.
- Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to lead complex projects, preferably with Six Sigma, Process Excellence, or PMP certification.
- Analytical Skills: Skilled in tracking project performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective measures.
