Robotics DePIN Co-Founder / CTO (m/w/d)

The role and a bit about us

This stealth mode robotics venture is not your typical startup. We have been laying the infrastructure for this project for over two years and have a working PoC. Stemming from EoT Labs (the team behind the development of the peaq blockchain),our mission is clear: to create innovative solutions for the autonomous robot industry. Our goal is to build a platform that empowers individuals amid job automation by offering the opportunity to earn real yield and passive income from autonomous machines. By democratizing the machine economy and championing transparency and accessibility, we envision a future where machines become investable assets for everyone. We are seeking a CTO and co-founder to join our team and contribute to building and scaling the company.

What you bring to the table

• At least 5 years of experience in software development, including writing smart contracts on an EVM-based blockchain. You should also have strong development skills on Web technologies with proficiency in JavaScript, React, and other web frameworks.
• Proficiency in all areas of development. You should be able to improve backend performance, debug frontend issues, deploy solutions on hyperscalers, investigate blockchain transactions, and collaborate with auditors to review smart contract security. We seek a generalist comfortable with all parts of a Web3 application.
• Expert in CI/CD: You have a deep understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes. You can set up and maintain automated pipelines for testing, building, and deploying applications, ensuring that software can be reliably released at any time.
• An entrepreneurial spirit, with experience as a technical co-founder or as an early team member in a startup.
• Experience leading and managing a team of developers, giving precise instructions to external developers and third parties, even without direct authority.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial in a remote setting to articulate points clearly and make your voice heard.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Residing in the CET timezone (+/- 2 hours). The executive team is based in Europe and we prefer the CET timezone (+/- 2 hours) to enjoy the maximum of overlap.

Nice to have

• Experience with tokenization is a big plus.
• Experience with robotics is a big plus.

Things you will do

• Lead the development of the platform's blockchain modules, smart contracts, web application, and website.
• As the team grows, hire and manage developers to implement the platform's technology roadmap.
• Ensure the platform's technology is secure, working with security auditors to review the platform and smart contracts.
• Collaborate closely with the co-founder and executive team to define the company's overall strategy and direction.
• Serve as a technical advisor to investors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor the reliability and performance of all internal systems, ensuring compliance with security regulations and suggesting improvements.
• Work with the product team to plan and oversee the execution of the product roadmap, contributing to the design of strategies for future developments.
