Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers / Event Cleaners to join our team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our event spaces and on-site accommodations. Your efforts will ensure a pristine environment that enhances the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Event Cleaning:
- Conduct deep cleaning of all surfaces, floors, windows, restrooms, and furniture to prepare the venue for events.
- During-Event Cleaning:
- Maintain cleanliness throughout events by addressing spills promptly, emptying trash cans, and stocking restroom toiletries.
- Ensure all areas, including fire exits, remain clear and tidy throughout the event.
- Conduct sound checks and quality checks on equipment before and during events to ensure everything operates smoothly.
- Post-Event Cleaning:
- Thoroughly clean all areas post-event, including removing decorations, cleaning food debris, and restoring the venue to its original condition.
- Event Setup and Breakdown:
- Assist in setting up event spaces according to specifications, including moving furniture and equipment as needed.
- Take down setups after events, ensuring all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
- Accommodation Cleaning:
- Perform routine cleaning of on-site accommodations to ensure guest rooms and shared spaces are immaculate and welcoming.
- General Cleaning Services:
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring restroom sanitation.
- Floor care, including carpet cleaning and hard floor polishing.
- Trash removal and spill clean-up, ensuring a safe and inviting atmosphere.
- Routine Maintenance:
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of venue spaces, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
- Assist in health and safety checks and compliance checks as needed.
- Event Support:
- Work closely with the events manager, site manager, general manager, receptionists, site team, and housekeeping management to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate quickly and efficiently with all staff members to facilitate coordination and address any immediate needs.
Training:
You will receive training in all areas of the job, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), health and safety protocols, and fire safety procedures.

Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Experience working both independently and as part of a team is mandatory.
- Must be confident, a quick learner, and highly motivated.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physical fitness and the ability to carry out physically demanding tasks.
