Following a period of sustained growth and successful customer deployments in the DACH region, we are expanding our permanent presence in Switzerland. We are seeking a highly capable, self-driven Enterprise Account Executive to join our team in Zug and lead our regional sales operations.
The Role
As the Enterprise Account Executive for the DACH region, you will play a critical role in expanding Obsidio’s market share across Switzerland, Austria and Germany. This position focuses heavily on the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors, as well as other critical infrastructure providers.
This is an entrepreneurial role tailored for a true pathfinder. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, acting as a regional business owner to create demand for category-defining technology. You will manage the entire complex sales cycle, from self-generated executive outreach to successful commercial negotiation, while collaborating internally with our global Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams.
Tasks
- Regional Market Expansion: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to drive net-new enterprise business across the DACH region.
- Autonomous Pipeline Generation: Act as the primary engine for your territory. You will build and manage a robust sales pipeline through targeted outbound outreach, deep industry networking, and strategic partnerships, without reliance on heavy inbound marketing or SDR support.
- Complex Sales Cycle Management: Own the full sales process, navigating multi-stakeholder environments and complex procurement cycles within large financial institutions.
- Executive Engagement: Build and maintain strategic relationships with CISOs, Risk Officers, and Network Architects, effectively communicating both technical value and business impact.
- Regulatory Alignment: Guide organizations through regional compliance and regulatory frameworks (such as FINMA, BaFin, and GDPR) as they relate to operational resilience and cybersecurity.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal technical and marketing teams to align our product roadmap with the specific needs of the European market.
Requirements
- Experience: A seasoned professional with proven enterprise sales experience within the Cybersecurity sector, with a strong preference for network security, application security, or risk management solutions.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Highly self-sufficient and comfortable with ambiguity. You excel at market creation, territory building, and driving pipeline independently in a "blue-ocean" environment.
- Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success selling complex solutions into the BFSI sector, with a deep understanding of enterprise buying cycles.
- Language Skills: Native or highly fluent in German (written and spoken), alongside full professional proficiency in English.
- Location: Must be based in or able to commute regularly to our office in Zug, Switzerland.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to confidently discuss threat models, network architecture, and resilience strategies with highly technical audiences.Professional Attributes: Highly collaborative, organized, and adaptable.
