Our client is an international private equity firm that advises on investments in growing businesses. Since its inception, the firm has made over 1,000 investments and currently has a global portfolio of over 140 companies.
The focus is on companies typically with an enterprise value of EUR 50-250 million. The firm has offices in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific with over 300 local professionals speaking more than two dozen languages. The team's active, hands-on investment approach is designed to accelerate the growth of its portfolio companies.
For its Brussels office, the firm is currently seeking an analyst who will work as part of the wider European team, gaining significant deal exposure alongside colleagues from other offices across Europe.
The role includes, but is not limited to, writing internal screening memos, conducting industry and market research to supplement new deal analysis, and assisting with other research and analysis projects for the team. The Analyst will review new investment opportunities presented to the firm by sell-side investment bankers and will also conduct research and introductions directly with owners introduced by buy-side brokers or other referral sources. The analyst may also be asked to review and revise non-disclosure agreements and draft indication of interest letters on acquisition targets.

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and at least one other European language (preferably German) and should have up to 2 years' work experience. Excellent research skills, accuracy and attention to detail are also required. The successful candidate will be collaborative, have a strong work ethic, be confident and have the gravitas to present well to all levels of management both internally and externally. A strong academic background from a reputable university is preferred.
