Your Commitment will include

• Contribute to shaping the future of technology in Switzerland.
• Participate in the design, development, testing, and operation of software applications using Java, Kotlin/Spring Boot, and TypeScript/Angular.
• Develop solutions for new functionalities, including cost estimation.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for the analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment of features and applications.
• Ensure reliable operation of applications within a complex system landscape, following DevOps principles.
• Work collaboratively in an agile environment based on SAFe, with a strong emphasis on personal responsibility.

Achieving the difference requires

• Degree in Computer Science (ETH, Uni, FH) or equivalent qualification
• Experience with complex mathematical problem-solving (Graph Theory, Mixed-Integer Linear Programming, e.g., Gurobi)
• Several years of experience with Spring, test and build toolchains (e.g., ArgoCD, Tekton)
• Expertise in agile software development, design patterns, TDD, and source code management (Git/Bitbucket)
• Knowledge of cloud architecture (Openshift, Docker, AWS) and message-driven architectures (Kafka, Solace)
• Understanding of software architecture, integration, and microservice architectures
• Strong team and quality orientation, quick comprehension skills
• Excellent communication skills and business-fluent German
• Advantageous: Railway industry knowledge, experience with storage technologies (e.g., Hazelcast), Java & Kotlin
