For our location in Freiburg im Breisgau, we at NexWafe are looking for Senior Simulation Engineer (Chemistry) (f/m/d).

## Tasks

*   You will be responsible for initiating, performing, verifying and presenting the results of complex dynamic and kinetic gas and chemical simulations and calculations.
*   Define boundary conditions, model and perform calculations in line with process development objectives. 
*   Working with experimental teams, you will refine and improve simulation models based on real data.
*   Make recommendations for further action based on the results of simulations.
*   You will interpret the results of experiments conducted on the production line to validate and verify the accuracy of the simulations. 
*   You will work closely with other simulation engineers and the team leader to ensure seamless alignment with project objectives.

## Requirements

*   PhD or Master of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 
*   Over 5 years' proven experience as a simulation engineer in a process development environment, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of dynamic and kinetic chemical simulation.
*   Proficient in the use of ComSol chemical/molecular modelling software.
*   Experience in silane chemistry is an advantage.
*   Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
