We are offering exciting opportunities for motivated students to join our Research & Development team. We are primarily looking for internship as part of the curriculum and for a minimum duration of 6 months.

As R&D intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers on the development and testing of cutting-edge implantable medical devices and neurotechnology solutions at our Geneva headquarters.

## Tasks

**Assist in Prototype Development**: Support the design and manufacturing of prototypes for implantable medical devices and electrodes.

**Material Testing and Validation**: Participate in the testing and validation of materials and electrode prototypes, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

**Research and Feasibility Studies**: Contribute to research efforts, assisting with feasibility studies and integrating new technological advancements into the projects.

## Requirements

**Education**: Currently pursuing a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Microtechnology, or a related field.

**Required Skills:**

**Problem Solving**: Strong enthusiasm for learning, with a creative approach to solving technical challenges under guidance.

**Teamwork and Communication**: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.

**Language Skills**: Proficiency in English, with French or German as a plus.

**Additional Experience (a plus):**

*   Prior experience in laboratory and/or cleanroom environments as a part of an internship or coursework.
*   Familiarity with thin-film technologies.
*   Experience in neurotechnology.
*   Hands-on experience with basic optical and electrical characterization.

**Location**: This is an in-person, on-site role based in Geneva, Switzerland, focused on practical and laboratory work.

**Working Permit**: Ideally B or C permit, or Swiss citizenship.
