Every 3 seconds someone in the world develops dementia. With an ever-growing and ever-aging population in nearly every country, the number of people who suffer from dementia will increase from 55 million to 78 million in 2030 and up to 139 million in 2050. The World Health Organization sees dementia as a public health priority. However, there is still no treatment available to cure the disease, although novel promising treatments are currently being investigated in several clinical trials. Our mission is to enable the early medical assessment and monitoring of memory problems along the Alzheimer’s disease continuum. Therefore, we have developed cognitive tests, embedded in a mobile application, that can be used in research or healthcare.We are looking as soon as possible for a **Linux-Systemadministrator (f/x/m)**, that ​joins and supports our Team IT & IS.

## Tasks

*   Administration, operation and maintenance of Linux server infrastructures
*   Setup, operation and maintenance of virtual networks
*   Realization of system integrations
*   Supporting the product development team in achieving best practices in the area of data security and information security

## Requirements

*   You already have at least two years of professional experience in Linux system administration
*   You have good knowledge about the administration of Linux servers and networks
*   You have good knowledge of encryption technologies
*   You have experience with code management (Git) and introduction to common development processes
*   In-depth knowledge of security measures such as OpenVas, SE-Linux, WAF and VPN is desired
*   You also have good knowledge in the area of virtualization
*   You are proactive, able to work independently and at the same time a strong team player
