Operations & Inventory Analyst

We’re after an early-career problem-solver: organised, numerate and keen to learn everything from supplier chasing to AI-powered forecasting. You’ll sit in our Lisbon HQ, work closely the founders and get real responsibility from day 1.

If you can turn data, maths, and AI tools into better inventory decisions (and negotiate in Chinese when it matters, using AI if needed), read on.

• Run supplier communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, particularly in Chinese-speaking regions, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Coordinate orders end-to-end: Oversee the order lifecycle from placement to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Draft PO emails, spec sheets, and follow-ups in Chinese or via AI translations.
• Mange inventory: Monitor stock levels and maintain dynamic demand- and safety-stock models to prevent overstock or stock-outs, cut working-capital tied up in inventory, and keep product availability high.
• Automate & improve: Use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or other tools to kill repetitive tasks and share wins with the team.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the founders, logistics, finance, and customer success teams to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.

Must haves:

• Analytical sharpness: Quick with ratios & back-of-the-envelope maths; comfortable in Excel/Sheets. You use clear logic to guide decisions.
• AI-native mindset: Regular user of ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini or similar tools.
• Organisation & ownership: You build checklists, follow up relentlessly, and hit deadlines without reminders.
• 1-3 years’ work experience in any analytical arena (ops, finance, consulting, data, engineering, etc.)
• Languages: Fluent English; Chinese is a plus - AI translation accepted.
• Growth mindset: Learn fast, ask smart questions, and iterate continuously.
