We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our empowered product team, building simple, elegant software from complex requirements.
This is real product work - meaningful, fast-paced, and focused on impact.
We’re a small, hands-on team that owns a single product end to end.
Start date: December 1, 2025 or January 5, 2026.
Aufgaben
Your Tasks
- Be a versatile designer in an empowered product team, comfortable covering all skills necessary to design a B2B SaaS product.
- Own the customer experience end-to-end - from user research to interaction and interface design.
- Actively contribute during the discovery phase, working closely with the Product Manager to understand customer needs and develop smart, impactful solutions.
- Build prototypes and run experiments with customers to validate assumptions and iterate quickly.
- Lead and participate in user testing sessions, analyze feedback, and refine designs accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation and a consistent user experience.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards
- Work primarily with Figma for design and prototyping, design system creation, and maintenance
Nice to have (but not required):
- Illustration and animation skills to enhance the visual appeal and engagement of our product.
- Ability to write HTML/CSS (Tailwind) directly in the codebase.
- Experience with daisyUI components
- Familiar with the Shape Up methodology, focusing on outcome-driven collaboration with engineers.
- Experience designing mobile apps in the B2B SaaS space.
Qualifikation
- Several years of professional experience in UX/UI design, working on products (not websites!).
- Proven ability to create and deliver user-centered designs, from prototypes to high-fidelity interfaces.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and sometimes other stakeholders.
- Skilled in user research and usability testing.
- Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and strategic design abilities.
- Proactive mindset and the ability to drive design work independently within a collaborative team.
- You know the saying: people won’t be replaced by AI, but by those who know how to use it - and you’re one of them.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Native-level German language skills are required because we’re primarily targeting a German audience and need to test our product with German-speaking customers.
- English at a professional/business level is a must, as this is our company language.
Your Application
We’re a tightly knit, empowered product team that values clear, thoughtful communication over volume - so please read the following carefully and keep your communication clear, concise, and human. We can spot AI slop, promised!
In your cover letter
- Share your motivation for applying.
- Tell us about a time you worked closely with a Product Manager where delivering real customer value mattered more than following a rigid process.
- Tell about how you use AI in your workflow.
What we’re looking for / hoping to find
A CV that highlights what’s most relevant for this role – your recent or most impactful positions, clear job titles, and a short, tweet-length summary of what you actually did there.
A portfolio that demonstrates how you work and think. We’re especially interested in:
- One project you’re particularly proud of in the B2B Web SaaS space.
- One case where smart early prototyping saved significant time or resources.
For each of them, briefly describe the context, the problem, and your solution - and show the concrete designs. Keep it focused on the story, concise, and purposeful (no full app flows).

You can join us for classes or try your own - both are easily accessible through our mobility budget. And afterwards, you can make yourself a fresh coffee with our portafilter machine – and pet our office dog (yes, dogs are welcome here!).
