Professional Summary
Collaborate closely throughout the game creation process with the Animation Team, Producer, and Art Director. Create, integrate, and optimize high-quality animations that meet the game’s technical, production, performance, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Animation Team, Producer, and Art Director during the game creation process.
- Adapt animation work to the game’s technical and production needs.
- Produce animation sets for characters, creatures, game assets, intro sequences, transitions, and UI animation.
- Create believable, high-quality animations.
- Integrate animations directly into the Unity game engine.
- Work with 2D artists, 3D artists, technical artists, designers, and programmers.
- Ensure animations meet performance specifications and technical budgets.
- Support visualization of future features through gameplay prototyping, storyboarding, animatics, blocking, and posing.
- Maintain expected quality level.
Technical Requirements (Must-have)
- Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in animation, specifically 3D character animation.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across animation art styles.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Maya and Unity.
- Technical Skills:
- 3D character animation
- Animation integration in a game engine
- Gameplay prototyping
- Storyboarding
- Animatics
- Blocking and posing
- Understanding of performance specifications and technical budgets.
- Passion: Passion for games and extensive knowledge of successful casual and mobile games.
