Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Modular Dating is seeking a visionary, execution-driven CTO to lead the architecture, scalability, and innovation of our AI-powered, white-label dating and creator platform.

As a strategic partner to the CEO and CPO, you’ll own the platform roadmap, build and lead a high-performing remote tech team, and transition our stack from outsourced to fully in-house.

What You’ll Do

• Own the technology vision—drive a modular, scalable, AI-centric platform for millions of users.
• Lead architecture, security, performance optimization, and AI-driven personalization.
• Build the internal tech team, while managing existing outsourced partners.
• Implement smartlink systems, machine learning tools, and advanced analytics to drive LTV and retention.
• Ensure platform compliance with GDPR, CCPA, KYC/AML, and high-availability standards (99.99%+ uptime).
• Work cross-functionally with product, operations, and finance to align technology with business outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years in software engineering and technology leadership.
• Proven experience scaling platform systems—preferably SaaS, white-label, or modular architectures.
• Familiarity with smartlink setups and external API monetization.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

Node.js, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AI/ML, Terraform, ArgoCD, etc.

• Deep understanding of cloud (AWS/GCP), DevOps, data pipelines, and AI personalization.
• Experience leading fully remote teams, with a focus on asynchronous collaboration and flexible schedules (core hours: 4/day).
• Effective at driving outcomes without micro-managing or drowning teams in meetings.
