Medical Aesthetician / Aesthetic Skin Therapist

Tibu Health is seeking a highly skilled, passionate, and client-centric Medical Aesthetician to join our expanding advanced skincare team. As a tech-forward, premium healthcare provider, we bridge the gap between clinical dermatology and advanced aesthetic skin care.

In this role, you will work directly alongside our licensed Dermatology Clinical Officers (DCOs) and Consultant Dermatologists. You will be responsible for executing advanced, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatments, conducting comprehensive skin analyses.

1. Advanced Aesthetic Treatments & Skin Care

• Perform advanced non-invasive clinical skin treatments including superficial chemical peels, mechanical microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy), dermaplaning, high-frequency therapies, and advanced hydrafacials.
• Operate energy-based devices and aesthetic equipment (e.g., Laser, IPL, LED light therapy) safely and in strict compliance with clinic protocols.
• Customize facial treatments based on individual client needs, prioritizing barrier repair, anti-aging, acne management, and hyperpigmentation correction.

2. Client Consultation & Clinical Collaboration

• Conduct detailed skin assessments, with specialized expertise in assessing and managing skin of color phototypes (IV–VI).
• Maintain clear, precise, and accurate treatment records within Tibu Health’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Identify and Cross-Refer: Recognize complex dermatological pathologies and seamlessly refer clients to our in-house medical team for clinical intervention.

3. Retail Management & Product Curation

• Act as the clinic’s primary expert on medical-grade cosmeceuticals and topical pharmaceuticals.
• Educate clients on active ingredients (retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, antioxidants, sunscreens) and design personalized home-care protocols to optimize procedural outcomes.

Education: A valid, internationally recognized diploma or certification in Aesthetics or Cosmetology (CIDESCO, ITEC, CIDESCO-equivalent, or premium local certification).

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of continuous experience working as an aesthetician in a premium medical spa, aesthetic clinic, or clinical dermatology center in Nairobi.

Technical Mastery: Proven track record of safely administering chemical peels and microneedling on diverse skin types.
