Procurement Officer (Consultant)

TIBU Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Officer to lead and optimize procurement operations across our healthcare and clinic network. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and high-quality sourcing of goods and services. The officer will play a key role in building systems, guiding procurement staff, and supporting operational growth.

🛠 Strategic Procurement & Systems Development

• Review and enhance the current procurement system, identifying gaps and implementing improvements
• Develop and enforce procurement SOPs and policies aligned with industry best practices
• Establish tracking systems for repair/replacement requests and inventory movement

📦 Operational Procurement & Vendor Management

• Oversee day-to-day procurement activities including solicitation, quotation analysis, and documentation
• Ensure fair pricing through market comparisons and supplier evaluations
• Monitor supplier performance and review contracts for consistency and value
• Lead supplier audits and price benchmarking to ensure cost-conscious decision-making

📊 Inventory & Asset Oversight

• Strengthen inventory control and audit processes, especially for consumables, reagents, and company assets
• Coordinate procurement for new site setups and equipment redeployment
• Track repair works and ensure proper inspection post-completion

👥 Training & Team Support

• Train managers and procurement staff on procurement standards and compliance
• Mentor team members to build internal capacity and ensure consistent execution

• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in healthcare or healthtech
• Strong understanding of procurement compliance, vendor negotiation, and inventory systems
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
