We are looking for a Petfood Business Development Manager to help us grow our presence in the pet nutrition market. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to gain commercial ownership of a high-potential segment while learning from seasoned commercial leadership.

You’ll focus on building customer and distributor relationships, managing early sales pipelines, and supporting the execution of our petfood go-to-market strategy.

## Tasks

Market Engagement & Sales Execution

*   Identify and engage prospective customers in the petfood industry.
*   Support in converting leads into commercial partnerships — from first contact through deal closure.
*   Prepare and deliver tailored product presentations and samples with technical support from internal teams.

Customer Success & Relationship Management

*   Build lasting relationships by understanding customer needs and acting as their internal advocate.
*   Ensure smooth onboarding and post-sale satisfaction in coordination with operations and technical teams.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

*   Research trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to help shape MicroHarvest’s petfood positioning.
*   Provide insights to support pricing, product development, and marketing initiatives.

## Requirements

*   2–4 years of experience in petfood sales, ideally bringing an existing network in the industry.
*   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or related fields.
*   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
*   Comfortable navigating technical products and translating them into business value.
*   Proactive, self-starting, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
*   Fluent in English;
*   Willingness to travel (~20–30%), including outside of Europe.
