About the Role

Our Care Home is seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of our care facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional to contribute to high-quality care delivery while leading and developing a committed care team.

• Support the Home Manager in overseeing daily operations of the care home
• Ensure the delivery of person-centred care in line with regulatory standards
• Supervise, mentor, and lead care staff to maintain high performance
• Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies
• Support audits, inspections, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Handle staff rota planning, training coordination, and performance reviews
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and staff

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a care home or similar healthcare setting
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or currently working towards it)
• Level 3 Safeguarding Adults certification
• Training in Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
• Valid First Aid and Medication Management certifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
