Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Services: Solo and 2-Bed Residential Children’s Homes
Client Group: Children & Young People (Ages 8–17) with Complex Needs
Tasks
- Manage day-to-day operations across both residential services
- Provide strong, trauma-informed leadership to care teams
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations, and safeguarding legislation
- Develop and maintain staff rotas, budgets, supervisions, and care planning
- Lead on quality assurance, audits, and service improvement
- Act as the Registered Manager for both homes (full support provided)
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, staff development, and therapeutic care
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a residential childcare setting
- At least 1 year experience in a managerial or deputy managerial role
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
- Children Act 1989
- Safeguarding legislation
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing and able to undergo the Ofsted registration process (full support provided)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Six-month probation period
- Right to work in the UK – we do not offer sponsorship
- Valid British passport
- Share Code Right to work (if not a British passport holder)
