
The Procurement Manager Capital & MRO is part of the Pan-European Procurement team and is responsible for the Capex and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) categories for our new Greenfield project in Germany.
The Procurement Manager Capital & MRO will co-own the sourcing strategy - together with your direct manager and the EPCM company - for civil, mechanical, and electrical work related to Capex. In this role you will be responsible for the sourcing strategy for all MRO and Indirect materials sourced in Germany for the site.
You will have the opportunity to lead and develop supplier relationships, including performance monitoring against expectations. You will be expected to recommend, approve, and implement supplier allocations, and to track cost avoidance and savings using Coupa. You will bring valuable market insights; help influence business needs and deliver commercial results to the company.
A strong knowledge of procurement skills is essential, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing and engineering activities, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. You must be able to discuss contracts with suppliers in both English and German. In this role, you will manage multiple internal and external relationships. The Procurement Manager Capital & MRO will lead and support supplier relationship strategies for the spend areas, ensuring proper commercial conduct and reinforcing company policies, ethics, and our strategic procurement approach—both internally and externally.
The Procurement Manager Capital & MRO will report to Procurement Manager Capital and MRO CE&GB and functionally to Global Director Capital and MRO and you will work closely with the Global Procurement Capital and MRO team, internal stakeholders including Project Managers and the Engineering team (for Capital), and the Plant Director and Maintenance teams (for indirect material).
