## Tasks

*   As Senior Full Stack Software Engineer  you will help build our platform as an individual contributor, be a mentor to the team and own features from concept to deployment, across various aspects like frontend, backend and devops.  Software Development: Design and develop our modern software product end-to-end, a) from front-end (ReactJs, D3) to back-end development ( Node.JS, Serverless), and implementation of business logic based on an existing framework, and b) not only focused on the application but also on the infrastructure (AWS).
*   Product: Develop a pipeline of improvement and maintenance ideas in collaboration with the product owner, scrum master and other stakeholders.
*   Software Design: Participate in the design of our software architecture and the selection of technologies is another task of yours.
*   Quality: Entail clean code approaches and ensure software quality by code reviews, unit-/integration-/end-to-end tests and use CI/CD to deploy our software.
*   Team: With your colleagues you work in a highly motivated agile team, embrace an agile working style and ensure proper documentations.

## Requirements

*   Experience in commercial software development (>3 years) and ability to ensure software quality (maintainability, extensibility, scalability, performance)
*   Profound understanding and experience of modern technologies and frameworks (e.g. Typescript, Node.JS, ReactJS, Express)
*   Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase, etc.)
*   Experience with Cloud Services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, Redshift) and modern cloud architecture (e.g. Docker, k8s) along with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
*   Willingness to take ownership and the ability to propose creative and cost-efficient solutions.
*   Excellent verbal and written communication (English is a must, German a plus); proven interpersonal skills and ability to convey key insights from complex analyses; ability to effectively communicate with technical teams.
*   Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.Nice to have:
*   Experience with event-driven systems like Kafka, SQS is a plus.
*   Experience developing e-commerce systems is a plus.
