**To support our rapidly growing team of 30, we are looking for a full-time Engineer (m/f/d) to advise our business customers.**

machCon GmbH is a moderately growing consulting firm that serves national and international large and medium-sized customers in a wide range of industries, particularly healthcare and life science industries, with their demanding quality and regulatory requirements. We are managing projects, analyzing businesses, and taking care of IT Security on highest levels and we offer trainings on complex subjects and targeted coaching’s of managers.

## Tasks

*   Delivery of the scientific HPC Linux application environment
*   Performing platform and application benchmarking
*   Support of HPC and Workstation platform, Linux systems including laboratory environment
*   Manage scientific application and data analysis toolset build system
*   Contribute to HPC/HTC workflow and job submission optimization activities
*   Contributes to the concept, planning and execution of projects
*   User training and education
*   Technical operational work, such as troubleshooting, capacity planning, and root cause analysis
*   Application and platform documentation
*   Consultancy about IT solution for the scientists
*   Support scientist to adoption internal and external cloud and CaaS solutions like Kubernetes and Rancher

## Requirements

*   German and english fluency in spoken and written
*   Work permit Switzerland
