We are currently assisting our client in the search for a Managing Director (m/f/d) for their Dutch sales subsidiary (B.V.).
In this role, you will be responsible for the independent management and further expansion of the company, including the definition of strategic goals to not only maintain the already highly successful development of our client in the Netherlands but also to actively and significantly drive it forward.
You will also be responsible for all obligations and tasks of the company and will represent the business both internally and externally.
Your success metrics will be revenue, EBIT, market share, and fostering a positive company culture where employees visibly enjoy their work.
The ideal candidate holds a successfully completed technical or business degree and has at least five years of professional experience as a Managing Director of Sales, Sales Director, Head of a Business Unit, or Profit Center with corresponding P&L responsibility within the Netherlands.
You also bring extensive experience in the electrical industry or from the sanitary and heating technology sector. Preferably, your focus has been on design-oriented products or items that include smart technologies.
In addition, you have solid experience in the three-tier distribution model and pre-sales activities. You are also well-versed in the mechanisms of successful project sales.
As a proactive leader, modern market management methods are part of your toolkit.
You are characterized by an analytical, goal-oriented, and values-based working style. A high level of assertiveness, personal commitment, and reliability are second nature to you.
Furthermore, you act with natural leadership skills, are crucial and assertive, and demonstrate strong initiative, social competence, and teamwork skills.
Fluency in Dutch is a strict requirement, along with excellent English language skills. Knowledge of German is appreciated but not a necessity.
