Title: Senior Barista
Level of experience: At least 1 year of experience as a shift lead or in a similar supervisory role within a coffee shop or café environment.
Hours: 20-30 hour contract

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for Senior Baristas to join our dedicated team. As a Senior Barista, you’ll be the face of our brand, ensuring that every customer feels at home and leaves with a smile. Your role includes mentoring new team members, checking inventory, ensuring standards are followed, etc. You will be working closely with the manager. If you’re passionate about coffee and community, we’d love to have you on board.

Tasks
YOUR ROLE:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, classics and special drinks.
- Lead by example: Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring all requests are handled with professionalism.
- Shift leading: ensure each team member has their place and tasks for the shift and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Be a brand ambassador upholding the LAP brand to the highest standards
- Mentor junior barista staff, providing guidance on coffee preparation techniques, customer service best practices, and product knowledge as well as performing opening and closing shadow shifts with new hires.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including the espresso machine, grinder, brewing equipment, and service counter.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate any replenishment needs to management in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures, to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve any issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Solving any issues that might arise in the store, with the support of management if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Full fluency in English is mandatory. German is a strong plus.
- Speciality coffee experience is a big plus.
