Language Inspired is a global language services provider with over 17 years of experience delivering high-quality localization solutions to international clients. We work at the intersection of language, technology, and quality, supporting both human-driven and AI-assisted language production.

We are currently looking for a Language Talent Specialist to join our Language Talent team. In this role, you will build and maintain the linguist network behind every project, working closely with internal teams to ensure that the right linguists handle the right tasks at the right time. You will manage the vendor pipeline, respond quickly to challenges, and keep operations running smoothly. If you are organised, assertive, fast-thinking, and passionate about languages and working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, this role is for you.

Tasks

As a Language Talent Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing, screening, and recruiting freelance language professionals across languages and domains.
  • Managing structured recruitment workflows, including onboarding, documentation, and coordination of translation tests.
  • Building and maintaining a strong, scalable vendor pipeline aligned with current and future demands.
  • Maintaining the vendor database daily, ensuring accuracy, structure, and readiness for reporting or audits.
  • Building and nurturing professional relationships with linguists, providing operational support and clear communication.
  • Responding promptly to linguist inquiries, availability changes, and operational issues.
  • Working closely with the Client Solutions & Support team to assign suitable linguists to projects and resolve resourcing challenges.
  • Monitoring vendor performance trends and escalating recurring issues proactively.
  • Collaborating with the Language Quality & AI Specialist on testing outcomes, performance insights, and quality-related training needs.
  • Supporting linguist onboarding and training by preparing and explaining documentation, workflows, and expectations.
  • Contributing to internal knowledge sharing related to linguist management and operations.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Fluency in English is a must, along with exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • 1–2 years of experience in vendor management, recruitment, linguist coordination, or a similar role within the language services or localization industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, assertively, and professionally.
  • Solid technical literacy, including email, spreadsheets, databases, and vendor or talent management tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in making decisions independently and communicating them clearly to both linguists and internal teams.

Strong advantage:

  • Additional languages.
  • Affinity for tools and language technology.
  • Understanding of ISO standards (17100, 18587, 5060, 9001).
  • Background in translation, linguistics, or localization.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing or dynamic company.

Benefits

  • Remote-first workplace with freedom, trust & accountability.
  • Work/life balance, supportive company culture.
  • Best software & hardware.
  • Real impact – support and grow the linguist network behind our client projects.
  • A unique experience in a dynamic, multicultural environment and thriving, fast-paced industry.
  • Competitive salary based on experience & expertise.
  • Seriously great colleagues – we mean it!

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with people, processes, and daily operations, and who takes responsibility for keeping things moving smoothly.

You will play a key role in building and supporting the linguist network behind our projects, working closely with the Global Head of Language Talent, the Language Quality & AI Specialist, and client-facing teams.

If you are organised, proactive, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Our hiring process typically includes an initial interview, a practical discussion around real operational scenarios, and a final conversation with relevant stakeholders.

When applying, we invite you to share why you see yourself as a strong fit for this role, how you can demonstrate the required skills and experience, and what your contribution to the role would look like in practice.
