Assistant Manager in Ensanche de Vallecas 26/27

Here at La Casita de Inglés, we believe that learning should be fun! We teach English to children through games, arts & crafts, singing and dancing, theatre, yoga and baking! Almost all of the planning is provided for you, with teachers only having to tailor some of the ideas provided to them related to the topic of the week (outer space, sports, science, food, mindfulness, music, nature, etc.) to their specific groups. We don’t carry out exams and only require teachers to fill out progress reports every trimester. Classes are small and interactive, with a maximum of 8 children per class in our after-school programme (although this number can occasionally reach a maximum of 10 if students need to make up on any given week).

Schedule & Workload:

• Total Hours: 13 hours / week
• Tue, Thu, Fri: 17:30 – 19:30
• Wednesdays: 16:30 – 19:30
• Prep Time (4 hrs/week): Preparation time dedicated to organizing class materials, crafts, and making flashcards for the upcoming week.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support our center's daily operations. Key tasks include managing student drop-off and pick-up, capturing photos and videos of classroom activities, keeping rooms organized, preparing crafts and flashcards, and sporadically stepping in to teach if a regular teacher is absent and no substitute is available.

What We’re Looking For:

• Profile: Fun, creative, and enthusiastic assistants who genuine love working with children.
• Language: Native or native-like English proficiency (C2 level or equivalent required).
• Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience teaching or working with children in a professional environment.
• Bonus: Prior experience in coordination, center assistance, or administrative support is a strong plus!

Compensation: €500 net / month (Fixed contract from October through June)
