SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with strong expertise in the Sales & Distribution (SD) module to join our SAP delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom ABAP solutions aligned with S/4HANA best practices and business processes in SD. The role requires hands-on experience in enhancements, reports, forms, and interfaces integrated with SD functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP code (Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, Enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits) within the S/4HANA landscape.
- Deliver technical solutions supporting business processes within the SD module including order management, pricing, delivery, and billing.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and provide optimal technical solutions.
- Develop and support custom interfaces (RFC, IDoc, OData, SOAP/REST APIs) for integration with non-SAP systems.
- Optimize and refactor existing ABAP code to align with S/4HANA performance and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of technical objects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support change requests as needed.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including at least 2 years on SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong expertise in SD module processes: Sales Order Processing, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management.
- Proficient in ABAP Core and advanced topics: Object-Oriented ABAP, Enhancement Framework, ALV, Data Dictionary, Function Modules, and ABAP Debugging.
- Experience in SmartForms / Adobe Forms, IDoc configuration, and ALE.
- Strong understanding of SAP SD data models, BAPIs, and integration points with FI, MM, and logistics modules.
- Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services is a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
