Working student - Product & Sourcing Food (m/f/d)

Your tasks

The Product & Sourcing Department is one of the centrepieces of KoRo! As a working student, you will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with and help shape the entire process of procurement and product management. From identifying potential suppliers to developing new products, you will play a key role in expanding our range and delighting our customers with high-quality products. If you have a passion for high-quality food and want to be part of a dynamic start-up, then we look forward to getting to know you. Your tasks will include the following:

• Research - Get an overview of the market: What is the latest food & packaging trend, what does the competition look like, what is the world missing and what can KoRo do better in the future?
• Find the perfect suppliers - You look for new suppliers, exchange ideas with them and find the best solution for a new KoRo product.
• Tasting - Supervise and organise tastings. You test your way through all types, varieties and flavours to select the right quality and get to know the best product.
• Support - You support the entire operational process from the product idea to the launch, both internally and externally. You will also take responsibility for the daily business and organisational tasks of the Product & Sourcing Department.

Your profile

• Ideally, you are available to start immediately.
• You are currently enrolled at a university or in a comparable educational program – a background in ecotrophology, food technology, or similar fields is a plus.
• Your studies will continue for at least two more semesters.
• You’re a passionate foodie with a strong interest in food and food trends.
• You have good German and English language skills.
• You live in Berlin or the surrounding area and enjoy being on-site at our headquarters in Schöneberg.
• First experience in product management, product development, or purchasing is a plus.
• You are proactive, open-minded, friendly, and committed.
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, resilience, and team spirit are among your strengths.
