## Job Description:

We are seeking a __Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/x)__ to join our team of innovators. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing groundbreaking solutions that solve real-world problems. You will work alongside a team of experts who are committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible and driving innovation forward. ## Your Impact

* You’ll work in a __cross-functional team__ developing the backend to deliver __features to our customers__ and internal users.
* You __own your designs and code__ throughout the full product life cycle and keep other team members accountable to meet goals.
* You’ll actively __engage in discussions__ about __customer problems__ and our products providing your __ideas how to solve current challenges__.
* You always look for ways how to push the boundary to find the best possible solution.

## To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have

* __5+ years__ of experience writing production code in Python and __Java (Spring Boot)__
* __3+ years__ of experience developing backend functionality within a cloud environment, preferably __AWS__ (Lambda, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, EventBridge…), using Docker and __Kubernetes__
* Experience with various __database technologies__ and understand their strengths and weaknesses.
* You’re eager to __continuously learn__ and __open to support other domains__ like Frontend, Data Engineering, or DevOps.
* You’re __comfortable taking the lead__ for a topic and an __excellent communicator__ across the whole organization.
* You're a __problem-solver__ who enjoys tackling complex challenges and owns the outcome.
