## Tasks

This is a full-time remote position open to candidates based in Brazil. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-intensive applications that process billions of events. This role requires a profound understanding of Go and Python programming, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

**What you can expect:**

*   Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using the Go programming language.
*   Work with large datasets and build systems capable of processing billions of events.
*   Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
*   Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
*   Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
*   Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.

## Requirements

*   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
*   5+ years of experience in overall software development.
*   2+ years of experience with the Go programming language.
*   2+ years of experience with the Python programming language.
*   Proven experience building data-intensive applications.
*   Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
*   Experience with Postgres and Kafka and AWS.
*   Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
*   Strong communication and collaboration skills.
*   Ownership of every line of your code.

**Preferred Qualifications:** 

*   Previous experience working in startups and/or you created your own.
*   Experience with AI integrations.
*   Experience building recommendation systems.
*   Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
*   Experience with event-driven architecture.
*   Experience with streaming protocols like websockets and gRPC
