This is a full-time remote position open to candidates based in Argentina. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-intensive applications that process billions of events. This role requires a profound understanding of Go and Python programming, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

What you can expect:

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using the Go programming language.
• Work with large datasets and build systems capable of processing billions of events.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in overall software development.
• 2+ years of experience with the Go programming language.
• 2+ years of experience with the Python programming language.
• Proven experience building data-intensive applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• Experience with Postgres and Kafka and AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ownership of every line of your code.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in startups and/or you created your own.
• Experience with AI integrations.
• Experience building recommendation systems.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Experience with streaming protocols like websockets and gRPC
