As a People and HR Coordinator, you will be at the center of a collaborative and dynamic team dedicated to creating a seamless employee experience. Reporting directly to the Head of Central Functions, you’ll play a vital role in two fronts, first in recruitment, screening and sourcing for our commercial organisation, and foremost at managing the employee lifecycle and ensuring that our HR processes run smoothly across the organisation. Tasks
- Oversee all stages of the employee journey, from onboarding to personnel requests, development, retention and off-boarding, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all employees at JOIN
- Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Partner in our recruitment strategy, managing job postings, sourcing of candidates and owning the recruitment cycle for selected commercial roles
- Maintain and optimise our HRIS (Personio) workflows, ensuring that all employee data is always accurate, up-to-date, and managed in the most optimal way while serving as the main point of contact for employee inquiries
- Compile and analyse HR metrics such as attrition rates, vacation usage, and employee demographics to support strategic decision-making. Prepare regular reports for management to provide insights into workforce trends
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve existing HR processes, contributing to the development and implementation of more efficient workflows and practices.
- Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with German labor laws and company objectives. Regularly review and update policies to maintain legal compliance and reflect best practices.
Requirements
- You are fluent in German (mandatory) and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- You bring 3 to 4 years of experience in an HR role, ideally within a fast-paced or startup environment.
- You have previous experience in recruitment processes, including interviewing, sourcing, screening, and collaborating with hiring managers.
- You have a strong expertise with HRIS platforms, and a strong understanding of maintaining accurate employee records.
- You are well-versed in German labor laws and compliance standards, ensuring that processes and policies align with legal requirements.
- You are highly detail-oriented, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- You have a proactive mindset and thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing work environment.
- You enjoy working collaboratively and have a passion for creating seamless HR processes and a great employee experience.
