We are the Data Domain, a team that is responsible for establishing, consolidating and unifying data and analytics services across the Compressor Technique business area of Atlas Copco.

**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for a passionate and committed Senior Power BI Developer to join the Data Quality & Operations team as Power BI Community Lead for the Compressor Technique business area.

As Power BI Community Lead, you will foster a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and learning are encouraged. By organizing technical sessions and updates for the Power BI developers within the business area, you will play a pivotal role in keeping them informed about new technologies, updates, and best practices.

## Tasks

Stakeholder management:

*   You are a visible, self-driven, communicative speaker that stays up to date with Power BI development and encourages data citizenship that enables the business area to become data-driven
*   Keep different audiences – including senior stakeholders – up to date on the benefits, potential and achievements of Power BI
*   Educate users about Power BI functionalities and efficient use of the visualization tool
*   Understand the challenges for different users and stakeholders through interaction sessions with the community and take the necessary actions to satisfy stakeholders
*   As a Power BI Community Lead for other Power BI developers in the Data Domain, you ensure that developers are following best practices, and you undertake upskilling initiatives

Reporting and visualization:

*   Redefine and make technical and strategic changes to enhance existing BI environment
*   Responsibility for creating best practices and standards in Power BI development, including coding standards, data visualization principles, and documentation
*   Analyze data and present it through reports that aid decision-making, create interactive visual reports using Power BI
*   Create relationships between data and cooperate with data modelers on data model
*   Responsible for technical documentation, making sure it contains explanation of algorithms, parameters, models, and relations
*   Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics
*   Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
*   Work closely with data governance teams to secure common metadata is embedded constantly

## Requirements

**Skills & Experience**

*   Deep understanding of Power BI's capabilities, including data modeling, DAX calculations, (custom) data visualization, and complex report/dashboard development
*   Strong knowledge of data analytics concepts, data visualization best practices, and data-driven decision-making processes
*   A willingness to explore new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve processes and outcomes (e.g. Power BI on direct Delta Lake files)
*   Experience in mentoring a team of developers and guiding them towards successful project outcomes
*   Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
*   Strong communication skills to present technical information clearly and concisely
*   Proven ability to identify and solve complex technical challenges within a Power BI and analytics context
*   Good understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts & technologies
*   Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Lake and Databricks is an asset
*   Experience and knowledge on scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python to set up and automate Power BI platform-related activities is an asset
*   Good knowledge (verbal and written) of English is required
