We’re looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our distributed team across Poland. If you’re passionate about building robust, scalable systems using modern Java technologies and enjoy working in a remote-friendly environment, this could be a great fit.
You’ll work on enterprise-grade applications, contributing to all phases of development from architecture and design to deployment and monitoring. We value clean code, automation, and ownership.
Tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring (Boot).
- Work with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Stay up to date with modern development trends, including tools and frameworks.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Basic understanding of deployment with Helm and CI/CD processes.
- Curious mindset and openness to modern Java features and frameworks (e.g., reactive programming, virtual threads).
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first setup.
- Fluent in English (B2+ level).
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Vert.x, Loom/virtual threads, or similar modern Java paradigms.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Previous work in distributed, international teams.
