What are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and analyses of our customers' current output management systems, as well as their overall infrastructure and environment.
The Senior IT Consultant will work closely with our customers to gain a detailed understanding of their objectives and ambitions, and to develop a structured overview of their current output management setup. This will involve conducting a ’Status Quo’ analysis, evaluating InterForm400 or third-party output management solutions, and considering factors that may affect the migration strategy for customers migrating to our ‘state-of-the-art’ output management solution, InterFormNG2.
The Senior IT Consultant will also be responsible for crafting a tailored solution to transition from the existing setup to InterFormNG2, aligning with the customer's objectives. This will involve outlining a proposed implementation strategy for InterFormNG2, incorporating our established best practices, and detailing the step-by-step process of integrating InterFormNG2.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior IT Consultant will play a pivotal role in mentoring and supervising junior consultants. This will involve assisting them in the execution of projects, ensuring that they develop the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of output management solutions and will be able to effectively communicate with customers to ensure an effective migration.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
Assessment and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and analyses of customers' current output management systems.
- Develop a structured overview of customers' current output management setup.
- Assess and analyse InterForm400 or third-party output management solutions.
- Consider factors that may affect the migration strategy and decision-making.
Solution Development:
- Craft a tailored solution to transition from the existing setup to InterFormNG2.
- Outline a proposed implementation strategy for InterFormNG2.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure a seamless and effective migration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project execution.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage consultancy projects ensuring high-quality deliverables with a strong focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and structured project management.
Mentorship and Project Supervision:
- Mentor and supervise junior consultants, assisting them in the execution of projects and their professional development.
- Guide junior consultants in understanding and implementing best practice approaches.
Business Development:
- Contribute to ongoing business development and optimization of workflows and processes.
- Deliver sales contribution and billable work to contribute to business performance and growth.
Professionalism:
- Uphold the company's standards of professionalism and customer service.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting.
- Proven experience in project management and leading IT consultancy projects.
- Experience with output management solutions is a plus, but not mandatory.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex systems and developing effective migration strategies.
- Ability to craft tailored IT solutions aligning with customer objectives.
Leadership and Mentorship:
- Experience in mentoring and supervising junior consultants or team members.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
- Strong coaching skills to guide junior consultants in their career development and project execution.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of German is an added advantage.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Business Acumen:
- Understanding of business processes and how IT solutions can enhance operational efficiency.
